Hello my reader. Today is a special day, day of love. Tough I think when we are in love, everyday becomes celebration, but it still good to have one special day for it.

Love is the most beautiful filling, which humankind can experience.
But I am not going to write about love itself. Today I will write about the story of Valentine's Day, and it's significance.
Saint Valentine's Day is holiday celebrated on February 14.
It is originated as a Western Christian Festival honoring saints named Valentinus.The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different Saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred.
Although it is not a public holiday but in many countries it's a cultural celebration.
The earliest description of February 14 as an annual celebration of love appears in the Charter of the Court of Love. The charter, allegedly issued in 1400, which describes lavish festivities to be attended by several members of the royal court, including a feast amorous song and poetry competitions. jousting and dancing, The participating ladies would hear and rule on disputes from lovers.
There are various stories associated with this day, but the most famous is the story of Saint Valentine of Rome, who was imprisoned for performing weeding of soldiers who were forbidden to marry. According to legend, Saint Valentine fallen in love with daughter in his jailer Asterius and before his execution he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine".
